Loading your first deck

A hand placing a deck face down in LeShuffler's loading tray

Place the whole deck in the loading tray at once, face down. LeShuffler takes it from there, loading the cards automatically one at a time.

Before you set the deck in the tray, square it in one simple way: hold it with the bottom card pushed forward by about a centimetre. This gives every shuffle the same starting point, even though decks differ in thickness, wear and bow.

Holding the deck with the bottom card pushed forward, ready to load

LeShuffler takes up to 54 cards, so a full deck with two jokers fits. Poker-size and bridge-size cards both work, and there is nothing to adjust when you move from one to the other.

Once in use, LeShuffler times every card it handles and continuously tunes itself to the deck, whether the cards are new or worn, poker size or bridge size.

Normally, there is nothing for you to set. If the conditions in which you use LeShuffler change, the calibrations can be run again from the menu by following the Operations Manual.
